1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
# بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ 1

$ 1714 The signs of the greatness of Allah surround us yet most of mankind, like the people of Thamood, reject Him on account of pride, giving preference to their own created ability rather than the ultimate power and ability of their Creator 91:1- 15
91:1 By the sun and its midmorning,
# وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا 1
91:2 by the moon, which follows it,
# وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلاهَا 2
91:3 by the day, when it displays it,
# وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلاَّهَا 3
91:4 by the night, when it envelops it!
# وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَاهَا 4
91:5 By the heaven and Who built it,
# وَالسَّمَاءِ وَمَا بَنَاهَا 5
91:6 by the earth and Who spread it,
# وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَاهَا 6
91:7 by the soul and Who shaped it
# وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّاهَا 7
91:8 and inspired it with its sin and its piety,
# فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا 8
91:9 prosperous is he who purified it,
# قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّاهَا 9
91:10 and failed is he who buried it!
# وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّاهَا 10
91:11 Thamood belied in their pride
# كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَاهَا 11
91:12 when the most wicked of them broke forth,
# إِذِ انْبَعَثَ أَشْقَاهَا 12
91:13 the Messenger of Allah said to them, '(This is) the she-camel of Allah, let her drink.'
# فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ نَاقَةَ اللَّهِ وَسُقْيَاهَا 13
91:14 But they belied him, and hamstrung her. So their Lord crushed them for their sin and leveled it (their village).
# فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنْبِهِمْ فَسَوَّاهَا 14
91:15 He does not fear the result (of their destruction).
# وَلاَ يَخَافُ عُقْبَاهَا 15
